Data with meaning, Analytics in action, Doughnuts for All
We are helping small businesses, marketing managers, and SaaS marketers learn from and take action on their Google Analytics data.
Google Analytics, while a powerful tool, provides little context and requires considerable time to make effective. We've gathered data from dozens of sites and hundreds of pages into a prioritizing algorythm to better focus marketing actions.
Take this simple example:
A social media marketer sits down to schedule out a weeks worth of posts.
Ideally they target 20-30 messages to go out throughout the week.
They have basic information from Buffer, HubSpot or another tool that provides clicks, but not much more data...
However, prioritizing discussions to start, the best links to promote, and the content for each message has only so much data to start with. Clicks and a brand guide are a start...
But responding to results, or even uncovering results is very time consuming.
While posts, tweets and messages go out responding to their results both on the channel and through the website are very time consuming but this responsiveness is the key compounding results!
Or another example:
A writer sets out to update content on their site.
They start by sorting through through the traffic, new session, and bounce statistics, which takes time.
They pull the top 3 pages based on traffic and start updating content to then repromote.
However, it turns out that a longer term trend in organic traffic is missed, instead other channels are focused on.
Not only is data missed but also repeating this process takes the same amount of time, or more, each review rather than the analytics highlighting what metrics to take note of.
In both scenarios, a customized Google Analytics view helps but remains fixed, and doesn't respond to either the content direction or the analytics changing.
Share your information to the right and we'll send you occassional updates based specifically on what you'd like to share with us. In addtion, we'll put together the numbers from a few dozen teams and help tackle the challenges that stand out.
Most of all, we'll be gathering folks in person at Benjamin's Desk to discuss these problems over doughnuts and carrots soon. Stay tuned!
